The following positions are currently available:

CO-OCCURRING TECHS- F/T OR PER-DIEM
  • Have a co-occurring experience substance abuse and/or mental health treatment
  • A minimum of 1-year experience in treatment industry preferred.
ADULT CASE MANAGER
  • Complete client intake, family assessment and other required case management and record keeping activities and forms
  • Support client and family on relevant clinical issues
CHILDREN CASE MANAGER
  • Complete client intake, family assessment and other required case management and record keeping activities and forms
  • Support client and family on relevant clinical issues
INTENSIVE CASE MANAGER
  • Complete client intake, family assessment and other required case management and record keeping activities and forms
  • Support client and family on relevant clinical issues
SOUTH FLORIDA STATE HOSPITAL LIAISON
  • Facilitate discharge planning, including assessing client’s needs, locating placement and resolving housing issues prior to SFSH discharge.
  • Assessing client’s in completing applications for community services, ensuring timely re-instatement or application of SSA/Insurance benefits, coordinating with SCMHC treatment plan
PROGRAM DIRECTOR - F/T
  • Oversees and monitors the operation of the co-occurring program
  • 2 years’ experience with mental health and substance abuse
  • MA/MS Degree: Psychology, Social Service, Social Work, Behavioral Health or equivalent degree
  • CAP certification from the Florida Certification Board is required
PROGRAM ASSISTANT DIRECTOR - F/T
  • BA/BS or MA/MS Degree: Psychology, Social Service, Social Work, Behavioral Health or equivalent degree
  • CAP or CAC certification from the Florida Certification Board is required
  • 2 years’ experience with mental health and co-occurring substance abuse
HEALTH INFO. MANAGEMENT CLERK
  • Pull the charts for Med Clinic, Drs., Nurses and Lab
  • Prepare new chart on every new client
MEDICAL ASSISTANT - F/T
  • Ability to communicate well verbally, face-to-face and by telephone
  • Taking medical histories
  • Record vital signs of the clients
SUPPORT SPECIALIST - F/T
  • Responsible for scheduling medication clinic appointments for clients when necessary
  • Involve appropriate family support system in the clients care and treatment plan as indicated
  • To assess and provide crisis intervention in emergency situations involving clients either on the phone or in person who are medication clients
PRESCRIPTION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - F/T
  • Guide clients through application process and necessary documentation
  • Ensure clients have begun the process of income verification to qualify for county clearance or Medicaid
  • Track each client’s database to determine time in programs and status regarding refills
DIETARY AIDE/COOK - PER-DIEM
  • Prepare, season, cook and serve meat, fish, fowl, vegetables soups, desserts, etc. as described on the house menu and production sheets
  • Performs tasks pertaining to preparing, transporting, setting up and delivery of meals to the various residences, etc.
MENTAL HEALTH TECHNICIAN - PER-DIEM
  • Provide on-site supervision of clients
  • Record all aspects of observations of clients behaviors
  • Assist in complete admission and discharge paperwork
INTAKE & EVALUATION SPECIALIST - PER-DIEM
  • Provide crisis intervention to individuals located in the community
  • Interact with community agencies and provide crisis intervention training and education
  • Monitor clients and maintain safety in I&E until disposition is complete
FAMILY EDUCATOR - F/T
  • Help family members learn about psychosis and how to manage it
  • Help family support each other and build family resiliency
  • Provide at minimum weekly sessions using Navigate Education Family Education modules with the family
